The easiest way to make money is to get affiliates to promote for you.
Most marketers I talk to are on the other end of that…
they promote for others, but have no one promoting for them.
and if you’ve ever tried to recruit affiliates yourself,
it probably didn’t go well.
You may have had an excellent product…
great sales letter…
but when you reach out to people all you get is…
Little or no response.
The truth is, getting affiliates is about building relationships.
You wouldn’t send emails to random people and ask them to be your friend, right?
Yet that’s the exact approach most people take in getting JV partners or affiliates.
There are already too many great products with great sales letters.
That won’t get most marketers to help you.
The best way to go about it is to get their attention FIRST, then ask them to promote.
Then you’re establishing a relationship, so they are more likely to listen.
Here are some ways to do it:
1. promote their product – if you make sales for them, they’ll listen
2. offer to help – if you don’t have a list and can’t promote, reach out and ask to write a product review or write a how-to guide they can include with their product.
3. meet people at seminars – if you can’t travel, keep your eyes open for local events and approach people there.
4. ask for introductions – once you get to know 1 marketer, ask him/her to introduce you to others.
There are countless ways to do this…
what matters is your determination and willingness to GIVE before you get. It will get you a lot further faster than asking a bunch of random strangers, “hey, can you promote for me?”
